The Annual TBC Old Boys' Association Celebration Dinner will be held on Friday 20th November 2020 at the College and tickets are now on sale.  Keep the date free and speak to your old school mates now to get a group together!

This year we are especially welcoming the wives and partners of Old Boys, as well as friends, family and supporters of The College.

Our mission is 'He waka eke noa - No boy left behind'. Your support and participation at this annual event, to recognise and celebrate the Association's work, is very important, as we continue to build a legacy and establish traditions that future generations of students and Old  Boys will benefit from.

 

Old Boy of the Year: John Bracewell, Former NZ Cricketer

Having started his cricketing career playing for the TBC first 11 from 1973-76, John went on to play 41 test matches for New Zealand between 1980 and 1990, as well as 53 ODIs. He was just the second New Zealand cricketer to score 1000 runs and take 100 wickets in Test cricket. Bracewell also coached the Black Caps between 2003-2008.

 

 

Guest Speaker: Grahame Morton, Career Diplomat

Grahame is a former First Secretary to New Zealand’s Embassy in China and a former High Commissioner to India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. He is currently Principal Adviser for Asia and Americas, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade, whose role includes coordinating our Covid-19 response in South Asia. 

 

 

Early bird tickets (available until 29th October) are $75 per person or book a table of 10 for $720.
