Support the Tauranga Boys' College Old Boys' Association with a donation that will go directly towards helping achieve the Association's aims and benefit current and former students of the College. There are a number of ways to do this:
The Acorn Foundation has been working in the Western Bay of Plenty region since 2003, connecting generous people who care with causes that matter. Through our Acorn Fund we are building a charitable fund that will cater for the current and future needs of Tauranga Boys' College - forever.
For more information on our fund and to donate go to: https://www.acornfoundation.org.nz/funding/resources-community-groups/tauranga-boys-college-old-boys-association.
You can also make an endowment to our Acorn Fund in your will. For more information on how to set this up visit: https://www.acornfoundation.org.nz/ways-to-give/leave-gift-your-will
The TBC Charitable Trust currently manages more than $300,000 in funds. Officers of the TBC Old Boys' Association act as its trustees. You may wish to specify a particular aim for your donation, such as an academic, arts or sporting scholarship, or allow the Association to determine how best to use your donation for the benefit of the College and its students, past and present.
To enquire about making a donation or leaving an endowment to the charitable trust please contact the trustees at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or through the College on +64 7 578 4029.
Giving directly to the Old Boys' Association allows us to support both our general objectives and specific projects. Funds could be used for capital projects such as buildings or equipment, for hardship grants or to support promising students with limited financial means.

Donations to our General Fund will go towards key projects to support the College. These may include things such as capital investment in new equipment and facilities or funding to enable boys to compete at or attend events.
The hardship fund aims to support boys with outstanding potential by reducing the financial barriers they face to doing so.

The Tauranga Boys’ College Old Boys' Association was founded in 2009 by Principal Robert Mangan. The rationale behind forming the Association was to formally reconnect past students of TBC with the TBC of today. Much of the community spirit and comradeship that was fostered during their school years could now be harnessed to benefit the college and its community.
