This prestigious event will recognize Nigel Brown (www.nigelbrown.co.nz) as our Old Boy of the Year. Now recognised as one of NZ's most important and acclaimed artists, Nigel grew up in Tauranga, attended TBC and was fortunate to have established artist Fred Graham as his art teacher.
Our guest speaker is Old Boy Ryan Johnson (www.ryan-johnson.org), a marine biologist and explorer. His expert knowledge of great white shark biology and behaviour has led to him presenting a number of specialist TV productions by National Geographic, The Discovery Channel and more.

At this year's dinner the TBC Old Boys' Association-Garth Sim Centurion Scholarship will be launched. Former principal Garth Sim, who is celebrating his 100th year, is due to attend the dinner to launch the scholarship.
